Every time I see a Prius with low tires it makes me cringe. Here we have a car owner who paid a premium for a vehicle because it gets above average gas mileage, yet they're throwing MPGs out the window with all of the extra tire friction their low tires are causing. I'm a big fan of the Prius. I think Toyota managed to take an esoteric idea (at the time, anyway) and turn it in to a well functioning vehicle with a serious identity. But does the conservationist momentum have to stop with the car payments? It's just plain irresponsible to spend the extra money, wear the t-shirt and cap, but drive around on low tires! If you drive a Prius, check your tire pressure!
