Go Green by Saying Goodbye to the Green Stuff

The idea of a "green" automobile that still has an exhaust pipe may seem far fetched, but there are some things you can do to make your car a little more friendly to the world around us. Unfortunately the green stuff in your radiator isn't very green at all when it comes to the environment. For decades your engine's coolant (or antifreeze as it's often called) has been composed of ethylene glycol, a chemical compound which is known to harm wildlife and poison pets. The good news is their is an alternative -- propylene glycol -- which is safe! In almost all situations it will perform its job as well as the old school coolant, so make the switch! Check out more info and how to flush your radiator here!
